The CS55 Wireless Headset manufactured by Plantronics went EOL (End of Life) on November 30th. What does this mean to you if you own this piece of equipment? Teltek can still repair it, but will be unable to reorder it or replace any of its parts, except possibly batteries.
Replacing the CS55 is the CS540. According to Teltek’s Plantronics representative, this headset is compatible with the 5400 series IP Office phones. The CS540 is the lightest headset in the industry weighing only 21 grams. It also provides a range of up to 350 feet from the base and a battery that will last up to 7 hours.

Maintenance agreements are available in terms of one to five years and payments are billed monthly or quarterly. Having an agreement with us also entitles the holder to faster response times and reduced travel and service fees. The Avaya Partner ACS phone system has been a reliable and well-liked piece of equipment that unfortunately is heading down that path the dinosaurs took. After nearly 25 years of manufacturing and distributing, Avaya announced they would be discontinuing production of this telephone system.
The Avaya Think Big Rebate is designed to provide an incentive for customers to purchase a new Avaya IP Office system and advanced unified communications applications. The promotion provides new customers with a rebate that ranges from $1,000 at the 32-user level, up to a maximum of $3,600 for 128-user level equipped with UC applications. The entire solution, including the control unit, IP users and the Preferred Edition software, must be purchase from the Avaya business partner on the same purchase order. Avaya phone sets included with the sale do not impact the rebate amount awarded. The discount on the specific IP Office components will be offered directly to the customer as a cash rebate. End user customers will be responsible for claiming their discounts via an online claim form.
