Gartner Rates Avaya “Positive” in 2010 Vendor Rating

Avaya is a major provider of communications products and services (see Table 1). Since finalizing its acquisition of Nortel Enterprise Solutions (NES) in December 2009, the company has made progress restructuring its direct sales organization and growing its indirect sales organizations, diminishing overlap in job responsibilities, reducing head count and minimizing product portfolio overlap with NES offers. Avaya IP Office Release 6.0 Product Update

Now that Avaya IP Office Release 6.0 has been publically available for a few months now and just about all of the bugs have been worked out we wanted to highlight some of the main benefits.  Release 6.0 introduced new hardware and features to simplify the ordering, deployment, and use of IP Office in small offices below 20 users.  It also supports enhanced capacity and resilience for multi-site installations as well as several new rangers of telephones, and much more.
