Last night, the Teltek team held its annual holiday party at Stables restaurant in Westminster, MD. Not only is Stables a great venue for a social gathering, but it is also a customer of Teltek’s! Back in November, we installed a NEC DSX phone system for the Carroll County restaurant. In celebration of a great year, employees and their guests dined and socialized together.

Monday, November 28th, 2011“[Debi], I wanted to take a moment to complement Christy Miller on her service. She, and your tech team was able to make our move relatively painless. Christy dealt with Verizon directly saving me major stress and time. Your tech group kept our downtime during our office move down to a couple of hours. Thank you again”

Girl on Wire – Ready or Not, Welcome to the Holiday Season!
Monday, November 28th, 2011
Now that Thanksgiving and Black Friday are behind us, I’m ready to start thinking about Christmas, the biggest holiday of the year.
Preparing for this day requires planning, organization and meeting certain deadlines. Cards need to be written out and addressed so they can be mailed by a certain date…ideally, prior to Christmas Day! Gifts must be purchased and wrapped before they can be bestowed on friends and family and cookies should be baked as early as possible so you can enjoy them for the next few weeks

Girl on Wire – Having a “Fairly” Great Time
Monday, October 3rd, 2011
Last weekend, Teltek participated in Westminster’s Fall Fest. We had a vendor space at the annual event for Saturday and Sunday and our sole objective was to distribute Teltek balloons to the kids. As you may or may not know, Teltek has two offices; one in Baltimore, MD and another in Westminster, MD, so we like to connect to our Carroll County community when we have the opportunity to do so.
Participating in the festival involved some planning and teamwork, but it turned out to be a very enjoyable event. Christy, Bob and I kicked off the first shift on Saturday. Luckily, Bob was there to handle transporting the helium tank…did you know a large helium tank weighs 160 pounds? Once we were set up, Christy and I got busy inflating and tying off balloons and we soon had the tent roof filled with them. The kids were excited to have one of helium-filled treats; at least most of them were. I found out the hard way that some children are afraid of balloons…who knew?

Girl Power: The Women of Teltek
Monday, July 25th, 2011Do not look for a swimsuit calendar here, it’s not that kind of “Women Of…” article!
At this point, you’ve heard enough about me and my struggles with technology. It’s a good time to introduce you to a few ladies I am honored to work with who do not struggle with technology. They are my “Sisters in Service Provider Issues” and the “Divas of Dial Tone”. Yes, girl power is alive and well at Teltek! We may not get as much glory as the sales force; consisting of Matt and John and we don’t get credit for saving the day like the super techs known as Bob, Mark, Dave and Jim, but these girls rock and I’m about to tell you why.
