The soiree began with networking and Mint Juleps and then progressed to the tasting portion, at which point guests sampled 1/2 ounce servings of different types of bourbon, including Jefferson Reserve and Hudson Baby Bourbon, while Jeff Davis of Reliable-Churchill provided tasting tips and interesting facts about each of the spirits.
Bourbon-themed prizes, including a book of cocktails and bourbon-flavored barbecue sauce, were awarded to guests who correctly answered a few trivia questions.
Following the tasting was a sumptuous meal of grilled salmon and tenderloin, expertly prepared by Ruth’s Chris Steak House, located below the Havana Club.
It was a very enjoyable evening and one of our guests was kind enough to provide the following comment:
“We had a great time. It was a wonderfully planned and executed evening. My thanks to everyone at Teltek and Glass Jacobson.”
