Teltek’s Owner/President, Debi Nicoli
March is Women’s History Month, with a mission to increase awareness of women’s history and to shine light on the historical achievements of women. Not only have women made achievements in politics, science, sports, and art, but also in owning their own business! So, In honor of Women’s History Month, I felt that it would be a wonderful opportunity to introduce you to the Owner and President of Teltek Systems–Debi Nicoli.
Women are becoming more successful in starting and running their own businesses. And Debi has proved this! Debi assumed the responsibility of the daily operations and financial management, in 2006 after the founder, Bob Nicoli, retired. Now Debi, along with her son, Chris, manage the business. Under Debi’s ownership, Teltek has seen extraordinary growth. In 2006, Teltek quadrupled revenues and almost doubled revenues in 2007!
So as Women’s History Month comes to an end, Debi took some time to reflect on what it is like being a woman in business. For women aspiring to own a business, Debi is a true inspiration; not only is she a great leader, but she is someone that women can look up to as a role model who dream of owning their own business.
