Last week, NEC announced a price decrease of their Cordless DECT Telephone, effective February 6, 2013.

Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) is a digital communication standard primarily used for creating cordless phone systems.

This Digital Cordless DECT Telephone is integrated to both the SL1100 and the DSX systems, and uses 1.9GHz DECT 6.0 technology. It utilizes a standard digital station port.

Features of this handset include:

  • Display & Dialpad
  • (7) Fixed feature keys
  • (8) Programmable Function Keys
  • Speakerphone (hands-free) feature
  • Headset Jack (2.5mm)

The Nickel Metal Hydride battery provides 16 hours of talk time and 7 day standby. The charging unit is equipped with a second slot to charge a spare battery.
