House of Cards is an exciting political drama and a Netflix original series featuring Kevin Spacey as Congressman Francis Underwood and Robin Wright as his wife, Claire. The first season premiered on February 1, 2013 on Netflix and a second season of 13 episodes is currently in production.
The story follows the political maneuvering of Majority Whip Francis Underwood after he’s passed over for a Secretary of State position and seeks to exact his revenge on those responsible for him not getting the job.
As you may or may not know, much of this miniseries was filmed in Harford County, Maryland and Teltek played a part in bringing the movie set to life!
We were contacted in April of 2012 to assist the production company, Knight Takes King Productions, with installation of an Avaya IP Office phone system consisting of 24 handsets and a conference phone which had been provided to the movie set from Avaya.
Our technicians reported to the movie set to run the cabling, install the phone system and program the handsets so they could ring and be functional as part of various scenes including a congressional office and the Oval office!
