Last Friday, Chris Nicoli and Carrie Green of Teltek attended McDaniel College’s Spring Internship Fair as a potential employer. Students attended the fair in the hopes of securing an internship for late Spring and Summer and approximately 40 local companies in addtion to Teltek were there with many opportunities to choose from. Despite a stomach flu that kept some students from joining us at the event, the fair was well organized and there were still many enthusiastic students in attendance.
A few of Teltek’s past interns have been McDaniel College students and we would be thrilled to have another one at our company, which is headquartered in Westminster, MD. Students from other colleges are welcome to apply as well!

Teltek is currently seeking a college junior or senior for a summer internship to work in conjunction with our webmaster to update our website, expand our social media campaign and diversify our organic Search Engine Optimization footprint.
Some of the duties of this internship will include:
*Creating and uploading images and video to the web site
*Writing blogs, social media and various content
*Expanding products and services through our custom Content Management System (CMS)
*Interacting with Teltek’s Webmaster to strategize on inbound marketing concepts and design
This person will also be responsible for completing an employment review, a final online blog about their internship, attending a business networking event and taking part in an exit interview.
Candidate Requirements:
*Creative with strong writing skills
*Self-Starter: requires little to motivate and manage
*Dedicated and committed to completing projects as outlined during internship
*Reasonably good with computers and online applications
*Familiarity with marketing, design attributes, search engine optimization and social media
*Punctual, a good communicator and driven
*Video creation and editing skills a plus!
This is a 6-8 week part-time unpaid internship. Eligible Candidate will work 3 days/week primarily from Teltek’s Westminster office (but may require occasional travel to our Baltimore office)
