On April 17, 2013, Avaya placed the IP Office Unified Communications Module (UCM Material Code: 700501442) on a temporary shipping hold, so they could investigate a potential problem with the unit.
The cause of the problem was discovered and a repair was created. Avaya is working with their suppliers to repair existing units and manufacture new stock.
It may take several weeks to replenish their inventory, but in the interim, there is an action plan in place. Avaya has committed to replace all defective units and provide emergency repair service if needed.
