Jun 28, 2011

Katie Landers Benefit

When:   July 9th 12pm-8pm

Where: O’hara’s Irish Pub- 6510 Belair Rd. Baltimore, MD 21206

More Info:

Fundraiser for a local Baltimore woman, Katie Landers. Her father John Landers retired from UPS he was in Feeders and was a package car driver in the
Owings Mills center when it was at the Baltimore Hub.

As you may or may not know Katie is currently fighting terminal cancer and is doing a great job at it! With that said, we are focused on making this fight all the more easier for her by raising money so she can pay her current and upcoming bills.

The fundraiser will encompass a horseshoe tournament, food, drinks, and raffles and a silent auction for a number of great prizes! We are also working on setting up a donation webpage. As soon as it is up and running I will send the link. Until then you can make monetary donations via check, addressed to:

KT Loves
PO Box 94
Phoenix, MD 21131

Katie has a page on www.caringbridge.org this has updates, comment section (which her and her family do read), guestbook, pictures ect…  For those who wish to sign up for Katie’s Caringbridge webpage Please use the link below: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/katielanders (Site does accept donations but they are to the caringbridge.org site. They will not have anything to do with the fundraiser we are having for Kate)

We are also working hard to gain business donations that can be used in the auction and raffle. So if you know anyone that is willing please let myself know or Becki Steele rsteel2@gmail.com  (she is setting this entire up) We would love to see all you at the event, if you cannot make it please keep Katie and the family in your thoughts and prayers! Thank you for all of your support!
