Who is on the Move? The Carroll County Chamber is!
The Carroll County Chamber has recently announced that it is packing up and moving into the spotlight. With limited exposure at its current location, the Chamber is strategically placing itself amongst the heat of downtown Westminster. The Chamber hopes to reposition itself as a beacon for the Main Street crowd and surrounding area, and to further serve Carroll County as a valuable resource. Playing a large part in the move is Mike McMullin, President of the Chamber, who has served an integral role in organizing the various aspects of the Chamber’s relocation. One of the areas that Mike is involved in includes organizing vendors and contractors to assist in the various phases involved in designing and implementing the internal framework, which goes into every office relocation.
As of 7/29/11, Teltek has become a Carroll County Chamber Member and has happily jumped on board to assist the Chamber in its move to Main Street in Westminster. Teltek plans to take some weight off of Mike’s shoulders by relocating their Avaya Partner phone system to the hustle and bustle of Main Street and coordinating to turn over phone service by the beginning of September. Facilitating and planning these system components is Matt Bailey of Teltek, who recently assisted the Carroll Area Transit System (CATS) in its relocation as well. The new home for the Chamber will be a stone’s throw away from Teltek’s Westminster Office, and Teltek will be just one of many local businesses to welcome the Chamber to our Main Strip.
