To help promote sales of the ML440 IP DECT wireless handset on the NEC SL1100 phone system, NEC has created the “SL1100/ML440 Starter Kit,” available now through September 30, 2012.
This new Starter Kit provides a complete, in-building mobility solution that seamlessly integrates with the SL1100 system. The ML440 uniquely combines the benefits of IP telephony and digitally enhanced cordless telephone (DECT) technology to deliver true, onsite mobility to small-to-medium-sized businesses.
The new SL1100/ML440 Starter Kit (1100007) consists of the following items:
- AP20 IP DECT Access Point (730651)
- (3) ML440 Handsets (730650)
- (1) SL1100 16-Channel VoIP Daughter Board (1100111)
The AP20 IP DECT Access Point (730651) is a compact, easy to install, Omni-directional 1.9GHz module that provides crystal-clear speech and seamless handover for ML440 Handsets. Its Web-based interface allows software download from any computer. The AP20 connects via a data switch to the SL1100 VoIP Daughter Board. It can be powered by a POE data switch or by an 802.3af power adapter. Embedded tools on a web-based GUI simplify accurate placement of the AP20 access point.
The ML440 Handset (730650) is a multi-line, wireless handset that provides superior sound quality and enables users to talk anywhere within the building, with minimal interference from other wireless networks. The ML440 operates on the 1.9 GHz band, offering sound quality that is superior to existing 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz handsets, and offers a number of advanced features and benefits.
ML440 features include:
- Illuminated, color LCD display with GUI enables use in poorly lit environments.
- (4) Programmable function keys can be set up as line keys, park keys, hotlines, etc.
- Speakerphone provides hands-free operation with excellent sound quality.
- Talk time of 20-hours and 200 hours of standby time.
- Ergonomic, compact design for improved user experience.
The SL1100 16-Channel VoIP Daughter Board (1100111) provides interface for IP applications, such as the AP20 Access Point.
