On June 28th of this year, Verizon introduced their Share Everything Plan to offer savings to Verizon customers who have several users on a plan (like families and businesses). Before this plan, users of Verizon cell phones had to pay about $50 per phone per month to have a data plan (internet, email, etc.). Under this plan, you can select one smartphone and up to nine additional devices (notebooks, netbooks, tablets and basic phones) for one price that depends on the amount of shareable minutes, messages and data.
All users can share one data plan and here at Teltek, we have noticed a savings of approximately $250/month for the phones we distribute to our employees for work use.
So what exactly is new about the Share Everything Plan? The difference is that they have switched the tiered package plan from voice to data. Previously you would have a tiered package for talk and text and unlimited data, now that deal is flipped. Verizon customers will now have unlimited talk and text, but need to select a data plan which will cover every device that is included.
Data heavy users should investigate all plans available to determine which option would be most affordable for them. You can select an amount as low as 1GB for $50 or as high as 10GB for $100 with four more levels in between.
