Last week, Teltek was present at the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce’s annual membership luncheon at the Portico of St. John in Westminster. The purpose of the gathering was to present the nominees for the 2013 Board of Directors and vote them into office.
After some networking time and brief adresses from the event sponsors; Celebree Learning Centers and CQI Associates, the 2013 Board of Directors was unanimously voted into office and the crowd was treated to a performance by the Maryland Playback Ensemble titled “Networking for Dummies or Geniuses“. It was an interactive performance by four members of the ensemble who used improvisation and props to poke fun at the networking experience. Attendees were encouraged to share positive and negative stories about interacting with others at business functions and the ensemble would act them out. There were many laughs and interesting stories told.
In addition to being a Main Street neighbor of the Carroll County Chamber, Teltek is also a proud member of the Chamber and was happy to assist them with their office relocation in September of 2011 by moving their Avaya Partner ACS phone system. We look forward to the Chamber’s next event!
