What better way to celebrate the impending weekend than with Feature Friday? Well, the only way it could get better is a FREE Feature Friday!
As you may have seen in an earlier post, Xima released their new Chronicall Agent Dashboards module at the end of last year. One of the hottest new features is instant messenger which allows for chat and presence functionality . . . and the best part? It’s FREE!!!
Instant messenger will allow users to chat and send files to other users. All you will need to do is have your users download and install the free Chronicall Desktop tool. Once installed, they will simply double click on the name of the person they would like to chat with and start typing in the pop up window. Right clicking within the chat box will give them the option to send a file.
Using this feature will allow to increase your return on investment bin the Xima platform by eliminating the need for additional chat and IM programs you may have been paying to license.
Furthermore, if you combine this with the full Dashboard license, users can further their experience by seeing the presence of other users. This allows all users to see who is available before sending an instant message or transferring a customer. Thereby, increasing communication through presence can help increase productivity in your organization.
