I don’t know about you but Friday is my day to wrap up the week at the office and very often is a day that I spend time reviewing, creating and updating reports on the various projects I’m working on. While the nitty gritty data analysis and manipulation is done in Excel, many times I need to share that report data in a different format like for use in a PowerPoint presentation or in Word document to be shared with clients or internal teams.
If this sounds familiar, I’m sure you would also be interested in learning a time-saving shortcut. I’ve been using a simple cut and paste strategy for years, however, I’ve found a more efficient way to share share the data between programs that prevents the need for manual updates to both files.
